It's hard to imagine that something like this could happen in such an idyllic and bucolic setting as the Va Tech campus. I still remember walking to class through the drill field and thinking that it had to be one of the most peaceful places on earth.

This is the place where my wife and I met. This is where the education that led to the establishment of this company began. I still have strong ties to the University and am extremely grateful for the education, training and world-view it was able to provide. I also still know many students there and thankfully, they are all accounted for and safe.

My thoughts and prayers are with the students, families, friends, faculty, administration and alumni of Va Tech
