TV Is Dead. Long Live TV!

It’s never been better for fans of the idiot box: cable and satellite channels aplenty, ready recording thanks to TiVo, Netflix and on-demand video serving up scores of movies, and dig the cool jumbo-tronic plasma screens—some even have neon backlighting!

Well, toss it on the entertainment technology scrap-pile. TV is tomorrow’s 8-track…I mean tomorrow’s LP…er, tomorrow’s CD. For contemorary watching, the Web is the way.

There are plenty of places you can find television episodes and buzz-worthy clips online. You can even use the web as your own (free!) personal TiVo so you watch your favorite shows anytime you want - you might be surprised at how bountiful online multimedia offerings really are.
